Merry Christmas

Ciao! Just got back from Italy on Saturday - it was fabulous! So, the hotel wasn't the best but the skiing was awesome and it was such a laugh just being around my friends 24/7, I loved it! I got back Saturday evening and I was knackered - so it was Strictly (yay Tom won) and then straight to bed for me (:
I lay in yesterday and went to the cinemas with Becca and Kelly - they didn't go skiing so it was good to catch up. We watched Twilight, and honestly - it was awful! If anyone watches the film before they read the books they are not even going to pick up the book. So if this is the case with you - don't be fooled! The film gives no justice to Stephenie Meyer's fabulous work at all. It was too cheesy, but at the same time it wasn't the love story that the book is. I was very disappointed indeed.
When I got back I called Vicki - another friend that didn't go to Italy - and she came round. We had to play Balderdash with my little brother and help make those popcorn and cranberries string things for the Christmas tree (it's an American thing, but my mum loves it). Speaking of which... three days 'til Christmas! Yay, I can't wait. I browsed the Radio Times as I ate my breakfast bagel this morning - I just love telly at Christmas! Ok, so this year no telly all day (not even the Queen's speech) and then at 6pm we turn on for a special Doctor Who (yawn), then it's a Strictly Come Dancing Christmas thing (shut up - I've always preferred Strictly to X Factor), then it's the all new Wallace and Gromit! It's been like thirteen years since their last small-screen adventure (quote Radio Times), and last but not least Royle Family - love it!
Aha, I'm such a TV nerd.
Today the family's round, but I'm thinking of writing my English essay we've had to do over the holidays. It's about Mary Shelley's Frankenstein and it's totally boring! Whatever.
