Feeling "Bloggish"

You can probably tell - it's my second blog of the day. Not even dressed yet, but come on - it's Sunday! Gah, still got my art homework to do, but whatever. Last week we drew self-portraits so our homework is to add "toning and shading" - woo. We never get to be creative in art anymore, we're always drawing fruit and stuff, aha.
I was going to blog on this new site I've found: green metropolis. It's where you can buy and sell books and it's all eco-friendly, but I'm not too sure whether it's avaliable in the UK since the web address is dot com. ALSO I'm pretty sad that T4's show, Frock Me is over ): It was hosted by the beautiful Alexa Chung and fabulously talented Henry Holland, I loved it!
I have a disappointingly unsociable week ahead of me. It's basically going to be school, band, school, violin, school, orchestra, school, school, weekend, blah. Mind you, recently I have been saying no to all invitations to social events due to revision and coursework. I'm kind of like Danny Wallace at the beginning of Yes Man. However, that doesn't mean I am going to become a "Yes Woman" and start saying yes to everythig, because in times like these a girl's got to just keep her head down and not make a fuss. Speaking of books, for our English lit we're studying Frankenstien. Now most people were either really excited or totally not looking foward to it - me? I was neither. I'd never read Frankenstien or watched the film, and most of the stories I've heard aren't the true Frankenstien - Mary Shelley's Frankenstien that is. So I went down to Bay Tree Books and bought it (: It's actually pretty good. I actually enjoy old classics e.g. Pride and Predjudice, Tess of the D'urbervilles, etc. Aaaaand, without sounding as if I'm cutting this short, I have to go - my art "toning and shading" is calling...
Ciao, oxox

Sunday Again!

Haha, it's like everytime I post a blog I should be doing something else - usually schoolwork. So, this week went sooo fast, last weekend I went to the bonfire with Vicki and Jess, we met up with a big group of people who mostly Vicki knew, but whatever, they were nice. There were a few of people from school who I never usually would have talked to, but they seemed so different out of school. It was in the park so we all got absolutely soaked and muddy ): not good, haha. Then Sunday me and Meghan took a trip to IKEA, she had to buy a few bits so we made a day of it; we went for lunch at a Mexican after, it was all very nice. We're hoping to make it a monthly affair (;
Gah so yeah, last weekend feels only a few days ago - but actually it was a whole week! During the week nothing extremely exciting happened - we had our GCSE, I think it went ok, but I don't want to say anything in case i jinx it (yeah i believe in stuff like that - whatever). We also got all our target grades and I'm really proud of mine (:
This weekend has been a lazy one. On Friday I went to Vicki's and then yesterday my dad was home so we took a trip to PC World. Haha - how sad!? Not very (; but really, I saw the camera I've been coveting - the Canon Eos 450D:
So, speaking of which (; Christmas is coming up and I'm so excited! Not just because I'll be getting presents (hopefully!) but I actually love buying and giving gifts to my friends and family. You're probably thinking 'It's still only November', but gahh whatever. I have to send some cards to my friends in America as well so I need to get those off early. Also, me and my friends are going to do a secret santa, so I'm wondering who I'm going to have to buy a pressie for!
But before Christmas, I still have my trip to Italy. Ok, so I should be looking foward to it and I hate to sound like an absolute ungrateful, spoilt brat, but it's a school trip and hardly any of my friends are going! Luckily, my brother is going to I guess I'm not going to miss home if he's there.
Anyway, I have to go and make some dinner,

This Week

One more day left until.. back to school! Yikes, I still have to do all my coursework/revision/blah blah blah. So right now I'm lay in bed finishing off my English creative writing coursework, which I have to admit isn't all that bad since I love creative writing. Then I've got some I.T. theory work which hopefully won't take long if I rush it (I'll refine it all later in class), then I have to make a speech which I'll be learning by heart and saying for my French speaking GCSE. Blah. We only have to do a bit of it so far though, just the easy stuff like where you live and your family, etc etc.
Not forgetting, I have my first real GCSE in like, eleven days! It's maths which isn't too bad... ok, it is! I had loads of revision going before the holidays and I was doing pretty well, but then I had to (haha, I say it like it was such a chore) go to Spain and I lost all track of revision!
So, like, today's going to be fun fun fun!

Anyway, so yesterday I went to this "Vox Pops" (Voice of the People) thing, it was really cool. It was all about the media and getting people's opinions and journalism and basically a lot of things I want to be involved with when I'm older. We had all the professional equipment to go out and just ask random people on the street questions, then we had to make a video of all the people's opinions etc etc...
I met loads of new people, like the other people that were on the course, who were really cool. I love things like that because everyone you meet is actually interested and enthusiastic about what you're doing - which is something you don't get in school or whatever.

So yeah, better get back to the schoolwork, ciao for now!
